Darren

Darren Kitts was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. His ministry journey began in 1988 when he was given charge of 18 first graders in the School-Age Program of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. This ignited the idea of helping young people grow spiritually in a caring environment. He has served within the United Methodist Church since 1996. He began as lay staff member and over the years has discerned his calling into full-time ministry working with youth to pastoral ministry where he is today. His goal is to serve where God places him. His focus is to love others and help them understand the love that God so freely and graciously offers. Darren is married to his lovely wife, Amanda. He is the
proud father of Parker, Dawson, and Lilah Grace. The family welcomed Parker’s wife, Landie Maness, into the fold in July 2021. Darren’s family continues to offer support and strength throughout his ministry.
